HIPPxRGB Nude Nails at the Oscars… get a sneak peak behind the scenes with Michelle Williams.
Both Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips decided to go nude to the Oscars… on their nails, that is! Though presented with multitudes of vibrant colors, both actresses chose a nude in their appropriate shade for the red carpet.
On Michelle: HIPPxRGB Nail Foundation “F1” topped with Nail Tint “T1”
On Busy: HIPPxRGB Nail Tint “T2”
To get them ready for the red carpet, “Green” Celebrity Nail Stylist”, Jenna Hipp, pampered Michelle and Busy with Dr. Hauschka products and provided treatments using H Gillerman Remedy Oils. “I can’t imagine working without my oils and organic products”, says Hipp. “They help not just my client, but everyone around me to relax and take a deep breath. They are very centering- especially during such hectic moments!”

Monday already, hey? Blargh! But before we get back to the grind…
Who watched the Oscars last night? Do you we have any nominees for best dressed and best makeup? I definitely dug Gwyneth Paltrow’s ice queen getup, especially the way it played with her super glowy and natural-looking makeup. Very fresh.
I thought Rooney Mara and Michelle Williams also looked stunning and memorable, and I think Emma Stone took a fashion risk that paid off with that giant bow. All three had the kind of makeup I love too: clean with a pop.
Keeping on the silly celeb thing for a minute, Well+Good has named some big stars who also love their clean beauty. Are any of them future spokespersons for the cause? We sure hope so. (Gwyneth, you so got this one!) Here’s the post:
Celebrities are constantly getting slathered with chemical-heavy makeup and beauty products on set, at photo shoots, and before they hit the runway.
But in their own makeup bags and medicine cabinets, some are super natural, opting for cleaner beauty products and healthier practices.
So who are the six famous natural beauty mavens in our midst? And what are they using? (Hint: Tammy Fender,Priti NYC, and RMS Beauty are celeb faves.) You may have spotted a few of their glowing complexions on the red carpet last night.
Miranda Kerr
Kerr is a verified natural-beauty buff.
The supermodel (and wife of Orlando Bloom) listed New York-based RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek and Priti NYC nail polish in Hula Girl Rose and Red Head Cactus as a few of her top beauty picks in the Australian Sunday Telegraph.
And she created her own organic beauty line, Kora Organics, which is infused with natural nourishers like noni fruit extract and rosehip seed oil.
Kerr also eats fresh, organic producefor a healthy glow, drinks lemon water every morning to detox, and is a dry-brushing devotee.
Jessica Alba
Alba founded Honest.com to provide safe, chemical-free baby products to new moms. So it’s no surprise that she also works toward a clean beauty routine.
Last year, the actress told Allure that she shops for organic beauty products when she can and mixes her own body oil. And she’s a fan of luxe-organic makeup line, Vapour.
Her beauty rules, which she also relayed to Allure, don’t even include products—a sign of her natural intelligence: Try to drink two liters of water a day, eliminate highly processed foods, and get some daily exercise, even if it’s just a half hour.
Alicia Silverstone
Silverstone is a vegan and environmental activist, who also created her own line of cruelty-free, eco-friendly makeup brushes and bags.
What’s in hers? “Josie Maran lip gloss, Eco Bella concealer, Josie Maran eye shadow, Bare Minerals powder, and Tammy Fender epi peel (for scrub),”she told GirlieGirlArmy.com.
She’s also a fan of Priti NYC nail polish and loves Crazy Rumor’s Hibiskiss Tinted Lip Balms, which are made with organic jojoba, olive oil, and shea butter.
And the celeb often writes about her clean beauty routine on her site,TheKindLife.com.

Nailing Hollywood Crystal Nail and Cuticle Smoother: ”Because I’m not a fan of cutting cuticles, the Nailing Hollywood File easily and quickly smooths out the rough edges around the nail, eliminating hangnails and creating a smooth pallete for a perfect manicure at home or at the salon” - Jenna Hipp
