Lea Michele Goes Green To the SAG Awards

It’s no secret that SAG nominee, Lea Michele is a huge fan of HIPPxRGB nude nails, especially for red carpet events and award shows.  But “it’s not all just about the nails, not even close,” says her nail stylist, Jenna Hipp.  “Our sessions are practically a ritual now, the polish is the finishing touch.”

A pre-carpet relaxation treatment includes a salt detox scrub, stress relief aromatherapy oils, hand, leg and foot massage to promote circulation, hydrating cuticle treatments with major omega’s and to top it off, a moisturizer that literally melts onto the skin when applied with a foundation brush. Luxury, yes.  And you, too, deserve it - everyday.

Get Jenna Hipp’s must-have products for an organic and eco infused mani/pedi treatment that includes and incorporates the entire body.

Dr. Hauschka Neem Oil Pen gets product right where you want it- and no where else.

Dr. Hauschka Hand Cream smells like soft roses and doesn’t leave a sticky residue.

Dr. Hauschka St. Johnswort Foot Cream smells delicious and leaves a powdery soft finish.

John Masters Organics Cacao and Cupuacu Hand and Body Butter literally melts on the skin.  I like to apply it with a foundation brush.

One Love Organics Detox Soak whitens nails when scrubbed with a toothrush and Supercritical Chia Oil absorbs into dry skin instantly to treat deep down for lasting benefits.

RGB Cosmetics “Base” is my favorite. It is the perfect prep for polish.

HIPPxRGB Nail Foundation “F2” is Lea’s perfect opaque nude with her skintone.  She wanted nails to blend to the focus could remain on the dress without being distracting.

H. Gillerman Organics Stress Remedy is applied on wrists, backs of knees and on bottoms of feet to create instant calm.

Ilia “Polka Dots and Moonbeams” highlighter applied up the fingers and on the backs of hands as a final touch for hands to appear healthy and hydrated all night long.

MY FAVORITE BODY BUTTER: SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE! “My clients are obsessed with the smell and sheen of John Masters Cacao and Cupuacu body butter. I apply it first with a foundation brush and then massage into the skin concentrating a little extra on elbows, knees, and heels. A little goes a long way… It’s not just luxurious. It’s delicious.” - Jenna Hipp, Celeb Nail Stylist

HIPP TIPS: Jaw Clenching, Dry Skin, Charcoal Body Wash…

I’m usually up at the crack of dawn and immediately go to my roll-on’s by  H. GILLERMAN ORGANICS.   I apply “JAW CLENCHING REMEDY” on my jawline and neck along with “MUSCLE REMEDY” on my shoulders and lower back.  Then, I roll TRAVEL REMEDY” on the back of my legs and bottoms of my feet to help with blood and  circulation. 10 deep breaths before I’m out the door with my cup of milk thistle tea.

COLLECTIVE WELLBEING HAS A CHARCOAL BODY WASH that is literally made of charcoal powder. (The black gel trips me out every time I see it!) Charcoal is known to trap and remove environmental toxins and impurities.
Every other shower, I exfoliate with the ultra emollient  SUKI EXFOLIATING BODY CLEANSER. They’ve hit the mark with their exfoliating body scrub which makes my skin feel like I’ve spent hours at a luxurious Korean Spa. The coarse sugar granules slough away any trace of dead skin. They also make my favorite facial scrub of all time- SUKI SUGAR EXFOLIATING FOAMING FACE WASH which provides the same benefits.

I usually follow up with Grade A extra Virgin Coconut Oil (find in the cooking isle of your health food store)  on my still wet skin, and lightly pat dry with a towel instead of rinsing the oil off.  This technique seems to lock in the moisture until my next shower.

The super emollient and delicious JOHN MASTERS ORGANICS CACAO AND CUPUACU HAND AND BODY BUTTER is the most beautiful moisturizer/highlighter on skin as the raw formula literally melts into the skin for hydration beyond compare.
For face during the day,  I use the SUKI PURE FACIAL MOISTURE for dry skin. I love that rose petals are the first ingredient and it feels “rich” and expensive and I love the smell. At night, I alternate between straight Argon Oil (Josie Maran) and Reviva Labs “Collagen Night Cream” to lock in moisture and hydration.
